Scholarships

Each year the Warren Township Lions Club offers scholarships to Warren Students that will be attending a college in the fall. The scholarships are based on financial need and are selected by a committee of Lions club members. Over the past 10 year, the Warren Lions Club has donated over $75,000 to Warren students through our scholarship program.

We currently have three special scholarships available to Warren residents:

1.
The Angelo L. Tomasso Scholarship - awarded annually to a deserving student that will pursue an Education degree. Dr. Tomasso was a former Lion as well as Superintendent of Warren Schools for many years.

2.
The Maxson P. Strub Scholarship - awarded to a deserving student that has proven to be an outstanding citizen and one that is dedicated to community service. This award is named after Maxson P. Strub who was also a member of the Warren Lions Club as well as a past International Director for Lions International.

3.
The Barrett Davies Memorial Scholarship - awarded to a deserving student that has excelled academically and is pursuing a college degree in Engineering.  Barrett Davies was a Warren Lions Club member for 45 years and was a Past President and long time Treasurer of the organization.

Students interested in the Warren Lions Club scholarship should contact David Peterson, Director of Guidance at Watchung Hills Regional High School.
